What's it gonna be?
There comes a point in life where you need to make a decision. You've been approaching this junction for quite some time but now it’s time to finally take that left or right turn. It's at that point in the journey where the signs that used to grab your attention no longer distract you in the way they use to before. You are approaching a new neighbourhood now. It's called adulthood.
Yes, you may be over the age of 18 and recognised as an adult by law but age has nothing to do with maturity. You may be surprised to learn that there are still some 40 something-year-olds still acting like teenagers out here. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:11, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things." This applies to you. You may have to cut down on playing videos games all day, partying all night, or acting up when the boys are around and start paying some bills, spending some quality time with the family and learning how to cook not just warm up. Some say it's a sacrifice, I disagree. I see it as an investment and a necessary part of becoming a responsible adult. You don't just wake up one day and become the man of the house, you've got to earn it. Let your actions to the talking for you. So with that said, let's put down that XBOX controller and decide to step it up as men and do what we know we've got to do. A post like this can only lead to you to the water. The rest is up to you. So... what’s it’s gonna be?
